what are the advantages of the block guard?
Is it a must do, or just when you have the head off, then you do it?

What the block guard does is helps keep the jugs from flexing under high RPM and boost....if you notice there is nothing holding the top of the jugs from wondering..this also can help aid in preventing head gasket failure to by keeping the jugs straight....Its not a must do but recommended IMO for bigger boost/higher RPM motors...
