Draining the gas from a TXi for winter

I wanted to drain the gas out of my TXi. I took the hose off the tank and pump it out but never could get all of it out. I thought I may just hook a bulb pump to the fuel line take the gas cap off and squeeze away. Not having gas in the tank durning the winter bad?

I personally store all of my summer toys with a full tank of stabilized gasoline. The main reason was to avoid condensation over the winter months that results in water in the fuel in the spring. I guess it works as I have not had any fuel related issues (that Im aware of) in 25 years of boating.
    Good luck!

I agree. Add stabilizer and fill it with non ethanol gas if possible.
