Replacement Parts Needed For Ride Plate Removal?

Other than the sealant, what other parts are needed in order to remove the ride plate, split it, and then put it all back together?

2 pry bars or a bottle jack with 2 pieces of wood. Unscrew the screws and separate the plate. Replace the male/female hose connectors w/new O rings and a new rubber gasket. Do it once, do it right!

No, and I can't even find them on the parts finder.

Also, is there any type of gasket that goes inside the ride plate and needs replaced after splitting the plate?

When I broke my hose connection on the ride plate I just replaced the whole plate.
I think its easier to do than splitting the plate and hoping it holds together when you reseal it.
    Good luck!!!

No gasket. Just use Right Stuff made by Permitex.

Sorry. Wrong info now since I reread your post. You are removing the torx screws to split the plate. What is your project!

That's because they are not on the parts finder. Contact Jim's Performance ride plates. He will be able to supply them.

No gasket, just seal it up.

Go easy on the Tory screws, they snap very easy. Apply some heat if any feel tight.

You guys are giving bad info........what seals the top plate to the bottom plate is a large rubber gasket. Its not listed in the links I posted but if you e-mail Jerry or SHSPowerSports I'm sure it can be ordered.
