Need help, kawasaki 900 project
I have a 96 kawasaki 900 zxi that has good internals and everything works. The hull is completely busted up, and I found a cheap zxi hull that i bought locally to put the engine and electronics in. The problem is, the 97 zxi hull I just bought had a 750 engine in it, so the motor mounts are too close together, and in the wrong spot for the 900 motor I have. My question is, is there some type of metal mounting plate that runs underneath the fiber glass that I can drill into and thread new bolts into so I can put the 900 motor mounts in the correct place, thanks for any help.

you can try bolting your 900 motor to your 750 bed plate.
the cases are already tapped for the smaller (650/750/800) bed plates.
