    Dicks sporting goods (free line???)

I was in the store yesterday and picked up an extra reel . I pay at the register and the woman says , take this slip and go get it spooled. I took my receipt and reel upstairs to the gun area. The guy behind the counter asked what I normally use , so I said 50-65# braid and back it with 20# mono. The new reel holds 700 yards 65# braid. So he puts 100yds mono and then spools 600 yds 65# on top. FREE !!!
if I new that I would have been buying all my reels there......

WOW! That's fabulous to get free braid.

Here, the Academy stores will spool any reel you buy there with their house mono for free, but no braid. So sometimes I just don't bother or only let them put on the backing line.
