    What's the next best mod?

    Good day all,

    New to this site. Lots of great info!! Here is my question, 07 RXP stage 1 kit plus free flow exhaust and some flow-rite vents. Will be adding OPAS block off kit, catch can and SC blow-off kit for some reliability. No intention on racing, handling is suitible for the riding i do. Don't want to get into the engine at all. What's ne next best-bang-for-your-buck add on? Thanks a bunch. It's going to be a long winter!!!

    You have done all you can really without adding a bigger sc. You could add a rideplate.

    Depends on what you are looking for. More top speed, hole shot, ect.

    Thanks h2jim. What is the best one? Don't mind doing this. Just don't want to get onto the valve train and stuff. With a better SC impeller, am i right in saying i would just need to go with a 15/20 impeller

    You are at the stage now where you can`t just add one thing without having to add something else at the same time. The X charger will work with your stock IC. All you would have to do is add 42lb injectors. Any other sc will require an external IC and a rrfpr. And yes you will need a steeper prop too.

    As long as you keep your stock ECU you won`t have to worry about doing the valve train.

    Stage 1 kit, some peoples stage 1 includes a Kanaflex hose mod and 4" Adapter, some does not. Its cheap and helps the engine breathe better. Plus if you do start doing any other mods you will need it - Or maybe go the Riva rear air route if you only ever ride flat waters.

    Other than that maybe 42lb injectors and a 255 x charger with a fizzle high efficiency intercooler would get you going well and add a prop to suit. At this stage you really should be measuring your AFR tho.

    Running an X charger without an external intercooler with give you the "Intake air temp to high" P Code from time to time as the air that is now getting more compressed by the bigger charger needs cooling a bit more and this is done by an external intercooler.

    Keep an eye on the classifieds for x chargers and 42lb injectors, have the seals / bearings rebuild by Jerry before you fit it on the charger and go from there.

    Oh and don't forget the free / cheap mods such as the reverse bucket mod (cutting away a small section of the revers bucket) and filling the ride plate holes. It all helps and is free / cheap!

    Thanks badvgood! Guessing you cut where the bucket slightly covers the nozzle? how much do you cut back?
