Different reasons......1200 is the only one I feel like I shouldve kept.....sold our house, though and the cash came in handy when inspector sited our roof.... I guess I just enjoy wrenching and getting them running as much as I do riding them, and want to continue fixing em up and getting em on the water. (one in process, one ride-able at all times for the last couple of years)

That hurricane is sweet. What are you asking for it? I know what you mean about wrenching on them. I am going to be doing a few more things to my skis over the winter here. The only thing I am on the look out for right now is a nice deal on some sort of MSX. I might even have the balls to go for a 150 and see what I can do with it.

    Build thread seems unfinished.

    How does it run now?

Does it ride well at speed?

Engine runs strong...ran out of time to get it completely tuned (still felt a little boggy at the bottom), but ride is as expected with a Hurricane (handles awesome, porpoises at top speed unless you lean to the side a little). I didn't ride it without the extended ride plate to know how much of a difference it makes.

Compression is good (130 in each) - Carbs are rebuilt 40's and it sounds awesome.

I fixed the idle/decel issue by adjusting throttle cable and routing it a little better, but haven't ridden since I did that. If I don't sell, I am going to check piston wash again to verify carb settings and check impeller clearance to verify that....I see no reason why it wouldn't run perfect.
