    Engine requirments for 9200 rpm?

Going to run 9200 ecu next year. Going to rebuld motor and install CP pistons, bearings, thurst washers, and thinking about Carrillo rods. Am I missing anything? All ready have valve springs ect...

Someone told me that if you run the lightened Carrillo rods you need to have the crank balanced. Not sure how true it is tho....

No doubt they would be a nice addition. You may get more benefit investing those dollars elsewhere? Have everything weight matched and balanced?
I went with a lightend cam and sprocket and plan to run 9100-9200 on stock bottom end. For me I don't even think that is necessary but its relatively cheap and an easy install, to each his own.

IMO all you need is the full riva and or supertech valvetrain. Lightened valves are a plus.

CP Pistons I would only use after my stockers burnt up. The rest of the stuff is just fluff IMO.

To run 9500rpm you need Ferrea/Riva springs and retainers. If your moving the timing it would be wise to up pistons to CP and Carrillo rods. Always use the optional CARR bolts with the Carrillo rods.
