    Intake Grates By Brand name

Not totally Polaris specific, but it gives some idea of who's who...

I had no idea there were so many. And of all those grates, all I hear is the R&D. Wow, that says alot.

My hook up (mostly lake riding) is pretty good. Are there grates just for top speed?

Your stock grate is about the best for top end, the only thing I can think of that might be a tad faster is the OP two blade grate, less interference...or you could just cut away a couple of the blades on your stock grate.

Scoop type are for rougher water. It helps keep the pump "loaded" when entering and leaving the water. (waves) In flat water you should never leave it, so you are always hooked up.

    Anyone tried the Worx grate?

I have been looking at that one and wondered if anyone had tried it with their Polaris.

Supposed to be better than the R&D for an all round grate allowed for better hook up with no loss in top end.

    Thanks

I've never tried the Worx on a Polaris specifically, but many people have many good things to say about Worx. It was a nice all around grate with almost no top end loss on my Sea-Doo XP LTD.
