    Man, I suck at this. I'm just no good at pranks. It's an Artic-Cat sled motor. (but it really is a 1700cc)

    Why would a US company have a Canadian leaf on the dome cover?
    As I recall their largest powerplant is also a 1000 twin made by Suzuki.
    I've never seen a manufacturer leave polished cylinders like that.

    No, I'd say you're good at this and that engine may be going into a sled BUT it still leaves the un-answered question. WHO built it??
