    Over the winter mods?

I have a 2010 260x and over the winter I'm wanting to do a few upgrades.

First thing I am planning on doing is the 300x filter upgrade which I have on the way.

The ski only has 37 hours on it and I ride mostly in a lake but plan on taking it to the ocean next summer.

dont say sell it and get a 300x...It's still very very quick and even if I sold mine 300x I would have to borrow a little money to get a 300x and I'm not doing that haha.

What exactly are you looking to get out of your ski? More hook up, better top speed...?
You tell us what you want and we'll tell you how to make it happen.

Tommy is right, it's a great ski in stock form. But I would at least recommend an aftermarket steering setup.

Op said he plans to ride the ocean a lil more, and stock if fine for those who haven't felt the difference.
Personally, the first thing I'll do now to any ski I get is an aftermarket steering. I find it makes that much if a difference in rider comfort.

I'll have to look into the steering.

Is there anything on the ski that I should upgrade. I heard alot of bad things about the pre 2010 250x.

I was interested in installing a audio system but can't find any.

I've seen a couple 300x's with speakers mounted in an aftermarket pod that looks kinda like a mirror. They were powered by a small digital amp mounted near the ecu. I'll see if I can find the pics and upload them later.

2010 was the best year ultra until the 300. There's nothing that needs to be done. Leave the engine stock and enjoy it.
