    What am I going to need?

    In all seriousness.

    If I was wanting to turn a 4tec to 10k and run 25+psi boost, what would I need?


    1. Stand alone ECU of some kind and appropriate injectors.
    2. Good Pistons
    3. Carillos
    4. Camshaft ??
    5. Standard Block running Blockguard
    6. Ported Head ??
    7. Riva Valve Train, Ferrera Valves
    8. Fuel ??
    9. Balanced Crank Assembly ??
    10.
    11.
    12.

    Already have a solid engine built, just want to know what else could be needed to run more boost and a few more rev's.

    Not bridge to bridge at 10k. For that, I'll probably keep it at 9-9500, up from the current 8600-8800. But for a 2 way flying kilometre at over 100mph.

    Darton sleeves will be good for this engine along with lighter internals(balance shaft-ring gear-camshaft)and standalone ECU for sure.

    I'm gonna try myself first I'm going conservative then further. He's my base block. Carrillo rods, 9.5 cp pistons balanced crank,lightweight countershaft, ported head,riva valve train,mystery cam, start 9000-9500. 18-20 boost

    Am building one to turn 9500 and every time you upgrade one bit you need to upgrade another 3......

    Being in the UK I have to get it shipped from the USA so shipping costs are high, plus import taxes etc. Everything works out 35% more than the shown price in reality.

    Am to far into the project now to pull out or turn direction but its heading towards at $9000 to $10000 USD engine!

    Should have just got a newer ski........

    Good luck in keeping the budget down on a 10k ski
