Prop for 1020cc
My brother is having a 1020cc built out of his 951cc in his 99 XPL. The motor dynoed at 152 hp and was curious what prop would be the best for this set up?? I know that it will pretty much max out the pump in the xp but curious where a good start would be on the stock pump for a good low end and mid range prop. Thanks for any info.

Start with a new liner, stock prop for low/mid range with the trailing edges pitched to get 7050 revs.Have the outer edges stainless welded and then machined back to an interference fit with the liner this gives 100% zero cavitation.
Mid/top end range Solas Concord 15/20 or pitched to get your revs to 7050 .
If it revs any higher it will bounce of the rev limiter in flat water which is a PITA and little disconcerting.
