    Winterizing Houston TX

I have 1 2009 seadoo rxp and 1 2009 seadoo rxt. Live in houston texas.

Do I need to do anything to winterize my jet ski? I have owned the jet skis since the end of 2009 when i bought them new. The first two winters I didnt winterize anything. This past Febuary I replaced spark plugs and both batteries so I am trying to avoid having to replace the batteries again.

What do I need to do? Should I unhook everything from the battery for the winter? DO i need to do anything to the gas or anything?

Like I said I havent winterized in the past but I am trying to prevent battery replacement and other small things like spark plugs like I had to do this year when it came time to ride again.

Once I am ready to ride again, lets say end of feb/march. What do I need to do to get her going again? spark plugs? oil? ect...

Ya I would pull the battery and put it on a trickle charger. Top off gas and add file stabilizer. And me I put a little fog in the cylinders.

just get a wetsuit and run all season,

Def top up tank and run stabil in it. You are also supposed to fog the motor and I know it's not the coldest place on earth but I would run antifreeze thru it also. Don't just run it every week the general rule is if your not going to get a motor good and hot (under a load) don't bother starting it. It creates more condensation

This is a good place to start
