    lighten seat VXR

    Hi did somebody think to take off weight at the VXR seat?I'm thinkin too but I don't know where to begin....every answer will be accepted

    the VXS seat is much lighter than the VXR, don't know why, but it is

    I think the only way to lighten it without compromising the strength of it or allowing water to get to the padding would be to take the cover and foam off and replace the foam with thinner, lighter weight foam and re-cover it.

    I've been working on a design for a full fibre glass seat like the fzr seats. Massive weight reduction to be made. It will have thin closed cell foam and fitted with a jettrim cover.
    I would like a second opinion on the design. Anyone around havasu area that can take the seat to the shop for measurements to be taken will get a big discount for helping out. Anyone keen let me know.

    Yes....I just need to see how much interest there is and get a seat to manufacturer to make a mould for teh first one. Anyone that helps gets a cheaper seat.
