    overboring cost

    Harry,

I may be purchasing a used yamaha 1200 sleeper set up. It blew a piston, and needs to be bored, and the head fixed. I have a set of wiseco pistons that I bought for another project, so I am wondering what it would cost me to have the head fixed and the cylinders bored up .5mm to fit my pistons.

    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
Many apologies for the absent response ... my spam blocker must have stopped the instant notification.

The head repair is $180, and the boring & sizing for all three holes is $195. Keep in mind that we need your exhaust manifold and all it's bolts to do the final sizing.
    Respectfully, Harry Klemm
