    1100zxi 1998 to1996 hull swap?

I bought my 98 1100zxi with a hole in the hull (guy watered down the driveway and ski so I wouldn't lay under and look).
I found a stripped 96 1100zxi hull and am wondering if they are the same? Can I just swap my guts into this older hull?

don't hold it against me if I'm wrong because I am not 110% sure, but I'm almost positive that should be a relatively straight forward bolt in swap.

The hulls are different. The '96 has the air induction holes and tubes that the '98 doesn't have. The '96 hull is unstable and dangerous (i.e. IT WILL HURT YOU!) if it hasn't had the mod to the front of the hull.

Read this thread for more info:

The carbs are different, but I don't know if there are any carb-related differences in the hulls. Possible differences would include throttle and choke cable routing, fuel filter mounting, etc.
