96' XP conversion from 717 to 787 How bad?

    Hi guys

I have a dead white 787 Carb in my 96 XP.

I have a fresh 2001 787 RFI Silver on the hand. Are there anything i need to change beside this:

    Motor
    EBox
    Wirring

The engine there is in it now is a White 787 Carb.

I cant use the ebox on the carb edition on the RFI right?
And i need a fuel pump as well right?

I dont think it will fit since the pipe goes around the right side of the motor and not the left.....I am not sure if there is enough room and you would have to modify your fuel tank to allow the fuel pump or come up with a new design of a tank.....

Yeah i can see some issues there..

maybe the exhaust side is the same on the cylinders on the white and silver, and i just need to take the old exhaust with manifold and bolt over... ??

If you put a carb'd exhaust on an RFI it wont fit past the fuel injectors on the left side of the motor..They stick out pretty far into the bilge

wont fit...I barely shoehorned a 951 in one of these. The RFI injection system is what makes it not fit. and i think its too tall as well? I cant remember that conversation....

No vacancy in the engine bay of an x4 for di or rfi. Plus rfi's are garbage.
