    We're doing ours on the smoker. I forgot the deep fryer up at the lake.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Keep safe.

    Thanks and +1. BTW, my favorite is deep fried, but I usually get 2 to 4 smoked turkeys (a local smokehouse does all the hard work) each year to make Smoked Turkey Gumbo... yum.

    Fried turkey is our favorite, but this year I'm doing to do it in one of these oilless turkey friers. I hear they come out really good!

    mbaseball3;
    Happy Thanksgiving bro, and the same to all of you here on GH. You guys are making me hungry. My wife has two turkeys in the sink right now; one for baking and one for frying. We always make two, plus a ham.

    Jerry I have not tried the oil-free fryers, please let us know how it turns out. I picked up the oil for our electric fryer at BJ's Club today and it was $36 (ouch) so I'm kinda liking the whole "oiless" concept if you know what I mean...

    Lol same here yo. Hey, strain and save the oil for your next fry. Peanut oil lasts a long time if taken care of and can be used many times. Especially at Californias rate of $53 its well worth it.

    +1 on Jerry's oil less. Let us know how it goes.

    umm please excuse my ignorance but how the hell does a oilless frier fry? It seems to work damn good as the reviews say. Might have to get my dad one for christmas.
