2004 Yamaha FX HO gas questions??

Hi everyone I have a 2004 Yamaha FX HO with 80 hours. I bought the ski with 40 hours hours and have been putting premium fuel since the purchase and haven't had any problems or issues. Now yamaha calls for regular gas. So it makes me wonder if I'm wasting my $$$$$$ lol. Have any of you tried running this type of ski with regular, mid grade, or premium and seen a difference. Which do you guys recommend for this ski. Your two cents are greatly appreciated

No advantage for using premium. If the manual calls for 87, then use it.

Yes, you are wasting money I would instead buy Yamaha Ring Free Plus oil and mix with your gas to keep the carbon build up low. That money is well spent but premium gas is a waste!

What do you mean "now." Are you saying your 2004 manual calls for premium?
We had a couple of 2003 FX140 models, they only required regular.

In MN the only non-ethanol gas you can find is 91+ and I refuse to run ethanol gas in my motorcycles or boats so I'll be running premium in my FZS, it's only money lol
