You will need a Rising rate fuel pressure regulator and a way to monitor AFR.

If you install a external intercooler and no other mods you will be fine add a solar 15/20 with it you will sit at 75

I think the consensus is that when you move up to an external IC you will need an RRFPR to adjust fuel pressure and subsequently an MTXL or equivalent to monitor your AFR. I may be wrong though. Looks like snow beat me to it

Atleast a RRFPR, but for just a tad more you could do this, and no RRFPR, Retainers (in classidfieds NOW $200) and a Riva ECU/50lb injs. and they are used for about $500-$700 and that will put your boat around 80mph/ Pitch the prop to get R's up to around 8500-8600. This is the route I would take. Little more $$$ but a huge A$$ smile on your face.

RXPX or RXTX ecu and impeller to keep rpm below 8140 and a 160 thermostat is nice to keep your rpm up.

Sell off your stock 07 215 ecu.

Well if he runs a external intercooler and 42's on xcharger and no other mods he is good providing he runs the right prop which is a 15/20. Now if He gets a rrfpr it will automatically have to pair with a afr. You should never ever ever purchase a rrfpr without a afr like sewing in a cave with no lights. He asked what does He need to run a external intercooler That was my answer now if He adds a anything more than a xcharger,42's to the base setup most have run for years. Now if you guys want to throw rpm at him and fuel sure pack his wallet too. send me some dough im at 5 grand my power plant should end up at 13 grand but like my sigs wanna go fast show me the money
