    Older Polaris Stuff

I'll start. We'll see how many of the young pups remember any of this stuff. Feel free to contribute.

    Polaris High Compression Heads
    MORE POWER

High compression cylinder heads are the ticket to quick mid-range power. You can gain up to an eight horsepower increase simply by installing Pro-Drive heads. They have been computer designed and tested to give you maximum performance. These heads are made for all boats with domestic engines. They are cast from 356 aerospace aluminum, then heat treated to specs.

    Heads

The domes were junk... When you torqued the bolts, they sunk into the aluminum because they weren't the correct material..But the chicks are hot!!

Who remembers Ultrac? I had one of their intake grates on my SL750 and it was a great product. Lost it unknowingly running up on a sandbar a wot. Puts the R&D to shame. I wish I had a pic of one.
Randy, have you ever tried them? I know Carl Camper had some issues within the industry but his Polaris grate was really good, imo.

crazy had pics of the grates on another thread Sea Lion. Maybe you should go over there and reminissce on the old days.

For older Polaris stuff, a few names of the day were B&P Polaris in Fl., Gene's Polaris in Tx., Chooper City Sports and Hot Seat in Mn. Of course there was PSI Performance too.
