How do you get rear coupler off of a xlt 1200
Okay, so I think we are going the wrong way with taking the coupler off the rear of the motor. Looking at the backside of the motor and at the coupler, do you go clockwise or counterclockwise?
p.s. 2001 xlt 1200

If yo can get it in the area, an air impact on the coupler tool makes it effortless.

Thanks beerdart!!! I haven't tried to get it off, doing it tomorrow.
No tool to get that coupler off, just some heat, prybar, strap the motor down and push.
