Depth Finder wiring harness
Does anyone have details on the oem wiring harness for oem depth finder relating to pin numbers and orientation of wires inside the plugs?
Also the "blanking" plug that gets spliced into the harness?
Bought a second hand one and can't buy the wiring harness so I bought some Deutsch plugs but cant find enough information.

I bought a 2nd hand as well, was going to install it in my conversion. It never came with the wiring, but Dwayne out of Georgia got me the wiring and everything to install it plus the instructions. I'll try and see if I can find the instructions and somehow send them to you.
The wiring harness cost more than the used depth finder, haha, think it was $200.

Sadlythe install intructions are not clear enough to see wire position in the plugs on any of them.
I payed $AU30 for the plugs got some wire from some other stuff. So its still cheap.
I've searched the forum but same same evrywhere....

there's a thread in the "how to" section, it may help.

The RXTDG_supplement2.pdf sort of shows the intermediate plug but does not show wire orientation on the sounder end that plugs into the existing female plug

Thanks for the info.
Inside the plug in the "middle" are the wires simply jumper wires to supply power and earth to the respective ends?
Like a 1into 2 splice?
Please be understanding as I'm trying to scratch build the harness from blank Deutsch plugs and wire.

This was my "installation" thread for my 08 T-X. As noted, the "kit" comes with two different wiring harnesses. I'm assuming you have neither.
I still have the 2nd wiring harness here-but, I'm not sure if it would work in your situation.
If you need pictures of the 2nd wiring harness, let me know. Also, maybe BD can tell you what the difference is in the 07 and older wiring harness, and the 08 one that I used.

02-06 is wired to the MPEM and 07+ its wired to the fuse block (Different connector pins). I made my own harness following the wire diagram above.
