I'm hearing rumours that seadoo is working on a 4 cylinder engine. Anyone got more information?

They had been testing one but has been scrapped due to fuel consumption

The 3 cylinders produce enough power and suck enough fuel.
If they produce more power from the factory its going to open the door to big law suits...
Who wants there ski to weigh more with a 4th cylinder?????

    Lol every year.

Not so sure the 4tec would scale nicely to 4.

Whats really wrong with the three cylinder engine anyway? I just don't see the point with the CG rules in effect to make more power. I think the 3- cylinder ROTAX engine is going to be around for a long time like a Chevy SB. JMO.

in a "low" rpm motor the biger cyls of a 3 cyl allow for bigger valves and that makes for better head flow than a 4 cyl
