benefits going from 215 to 255 ecu??

    Hi Guy's

Just wondering if there would have any benefits about swapping to a 255 ecu?

    This will be my setup.
    08 gtx 215.
    stock 215 ecu
    riva xx charger
    42# injector
    xs intercooler
    4'' kanaflex intake with filter
    riva rrfpr

Asking this question cause I know the 215 ecu is mapped for 38# injectors and last year I was running same setup but with a rotax ''A'' kit and I was having trouble ajusting my afr's proprely...
I was rich at idle (11-11.5), mid was kinda lean (high [email protected] 2 psi boost) and WOT was at 11.5-11.6 @ 11.5 psi boost.
Is the x-ecu will help me ajust my afr's better since it is mapped for 42#?

    Thanks

IMO, yes it is better as it is mapped for more boost.
It should help you with your AFR.
The limiter is different as well.
I have X ecu on my O5 RXT with pro x charger, Bosche 48s, RRFPR, XS ic and AFR are very good.
Before I ran 42s with x sc and no RRFPR and AFR were ok.
Another reason I like it on my 05 RXT is the vts and memory.
Pretty sure you will need x harness.

As Skoepp mentioned, you will have better AFRs!!

You dont have to change harness as they use the "same" one.The only difference is that your harness is missing the VTS option.

ahh 07 motor. I was thinking how the hell did you get an 08+ ecu to work on a 05 electrics system ...

So, installation would be as imple as ... unplugging my 215 ecu and plugging the 255 ecu and... voilà??
Maybee a trip to the dealer to get the vts disactivated to avoid codes(as I don't have vts on a gtx).

You will need to have the BUDS and/or other software (CANDoo?) marry to ECU to the gauge cluster.

I guess any dealer can do this pretty easily??
