    Which Ride Plate is Better?

    Well I recently purchased a Quadrafin ride plate for my 1988 Yamaha Waverunner 500.

    Just now I pulled the old one off to find out that it's a Pro-Tec.

    Which one is better? Here are the specs.

    Quadrafin;
    -15.50" long
    -4 fins on bottom
    -Brass barb for hose

    Pro-Tec;
    -16.75" long
    -2 fins on bottom

    I would use the pro-tec. I've run the DG Quadrafin before but was not a fan of the way it caused the ski to handle.
