    Rivets or Stainless Steel Bolts

    Hey All,

I have recently replaced the mat on my 03 GP1300R. In replacing the rear gunwhale, should I use rivets or stainless steel screws? I'd rather use ss screws but believe it will not allow the gunwhale filler to sit flush. Is there a certain size screw and bolt? Is the best bet to refer back to the rivets?

    Thanks,

    Jay
