2005 RXT handlebars FINISHED with pics

I'm not too fond of the factory cover. What do these look like underneath? Is it worth removing the casing? I don't want to do the T/P-X swap. Any other alternative?

There's a ton of these things from crotch rockets on eBay. Are our handlebars 7/8? 1 1/8??

7/8's I would suggest a umi switch housing and a finger throttle and some odi grips.

Looks good! I just bought a bar that looks just like that from ebay $24 shipped. Also got a green One Industries bar pad to match the ski colors and ODI Troy Lee Lock-On grips. Should look a million times better than factory

Where does everyone hide the solenoid and the DESS switch? Also I'm grinding off the mounting tabs from the factory cover unless there is some other option?

You have to make a little bracket for the dess post and you can attach the buzzer inside the ski on the steering harness using zip ties.
