    Water in engine bay

Hey guys, first time post long time reader, just brought my first ski 2012 300x, I've notice that there is water holding in the bottom of the engine bay, no matter how much i tilt the trailer it comes back :/ I also notice that there is oil at the bottom of the bay. Could it just be the lube I'm spraying on the engine, dripping to the bottom? Ski has 25 hrs done.

When towing her back you take out the stern plugs...have you changed the oil filter yet..sometimes even with a towel underneath oil can drop to the hull...

You won't be able to drain the bottom completely no matter how high your going to lift the front, you'll always end up with a little bit left at the bottom "about a cup" then you sponge the remaining out.

correct there is an internal step under the engine before the coupler, when you tilt the trailer forward put a sponge or cloth infront of the engine this will soak it all up

Yes my 300 is even more drier then my 260, there was always a little bit of water in the engine bay of the 260 even if i was river riding without any splash, never found the leak, the 300 is bone dry as long i dont ocean ride it

Maybe a little oil spill from the oil filter change? Clean and dry the hull and keep an eye on it when you rinse down.

As Jetdave was mentioning earlier, if you just had and oil change, check with your hand under the oil filter for any oily residu or leak, wash the bottom of the engine bay real good with degreaser being sure to clean where the oil filter is and then run the engine and check it again
