    jetski powered water jetpack

Saw this today out in merrit island Fl. had to stop and get some pics/videos with the phone. Looked like the giant hose is connected to the ski for propulsion. Still pretty cool. Sorry for the picture/video quality. best I could do with my phone. For the videos, just turn your head sideways

They are all over here in Florida. That one is the hardest to balance and is usually controlled by someone other than the person on the jet lev. Here is a link of a friend of mine on a different kind. While teaching him how to control it the operator on our boat has a "wireless" remote control that does all the functions and is able to communicate via intercom with the rider. Eventually he turns all control over to the rider and the rider is independent with the pod that you see following him in the water.

They're $100k out the door.... That includes a week of training in Ft. Lauderdale and the JetLev itself. Shoot me a pm if you're interested I can fill you in.

    Thanks

The other is a FlyBoard which is made by Frank Zapata from Zapata Racing who is a French jetski racer. The "FlyBoard" is sold as an attachment to the back of your ski where the JetLev is a stand alone unit. I think by the time you're all set and done the FlyBoard is around 20k.

You really can't compare the two.... The quality and engineering just isn't the same.

Let's just say, you get what you pay for.
