    gp 1300 transom plate

    hi i would like to know if the transom plate on the 2006 gp 1300r are know for leaking . would it be advisable to reseal it ? Thanks

    I do not believe it is a common occurance. Look at the locating tabs in the back to see if the transom plate is up tight against them. If not, or if you can pinpoint that it is leaking, redo it. If non of the above, its a lot of work if nothing is wrong.

    Not really known for the transom leaking, But the pump tunnel though do crack.
