    carb setup

So, I just got done replacing fuel lines and rebuilding carb on my 97 gti, was wondering if when i fire it up, on the hose, should i have flame arrestor and air box installed? It seems that adjusting anything with airbox installed would be a challenge. Thanks for your advice.

You have to have airbox on when making any adjustment. If you adjust then put them on, it will change and need adjusting again.

If everything was done properly you should be able to tune it to stock settings and it will be good to go except the idle. Which is adjustable with everything in place.
