    Just bought a 99 Riva GP1200R

Been watching it on ebay all week. Won it for $2025. Its got low compression, but otherwise looks to be pretty clean.

I'm so excited about it. Can't wait to get to work on it, and feel that triple pipe power. Unfortunately it won't be till March as I am deployed in Afghanistan but the dealer agreed to store it for me till then.

I guess my 98 GP1200 will be for sale now

Yup I made a thread about this ski. Hopefully bottom end doesn't have damage or you will greatly exceed the 400.00 as mentioned

Are the internals just regular 65U? If so I have plenty of donor parts.

    Sorry but the engine is a 65U not a 66v . 65U does not have powervalves .

I was watching that one too. Yep its a 65U. Not sure if the cylinders is ported, but if it is and you wanna keep it that way then hopefully it'll just need to be bored and honed the next size up.
