throttle cable adjustment??
I have just put on aftermarket bars and bar mounts on my gp1300r (06mdl). Also relocated the start/stop housing, shortend the qts and fitted odi grips and fitted a billet finger throttle.
My problem is i have ran out of adjustment on the finger throttle thread end of the cable! The lever only returns half way, pull out the thread end and it will return back to full, so i need to shorten the cable length.
I looked on the oem parts list and i see the cable splits in 2 and goes to the oil pump also?. I can see where it comes into the throttle body so will there be enough adjustment there or is it minimal?, and do i have to take the stinger out to adjust or is there a trick to do it?
New to the gpr so still getting familiar with it!!!
