    Ocean Pro rideplates

Long or short...what would be better on my 650/780 project? I thought I read here before that the short is longer than stock but shorter than a typical long and that the long was REALLY long and some people have had difficulty adjusting.

I like the longest version but the short is fun for cutting and turning or Buoys The extended it three inches longer than that and really calms my SL down! Z

The long plate keeps the nose down and is very good for porpoising problems. The short allows the nose to come up a little more than the long plate for better top speed. What is your definition of better?
