New Sponson Design from Worx Racing
Finally I ordered a set of Worx sponsons from Watson Racing today and their a little different in design to the older set they made. I'll post some pictures of them when they arrive. Hopefully monday. Gary Watson said they turn in better than the older design. I have not tried the older set, so I won't be able to give a comparison.I don't like the lack of initial turn in with the Fzs so I also got the Worx rideplate as well. Hopefully this will give me more hookup in the chop and wave jumping. Garry watson had all the time in the world to explain to me how he sets a ski up for my type of riding so I'm going to give it a shot.

Nice keep us posted. I just put my stock plate back on. I did not like the R&D plate at all. Way to much bounce even with 3mm of shims on the back and even more bounce when in a turn. Not worth the slight speed gain IMO. Would love to hear your opinion.

Update on the ride plate a little late, ski hooks up really good in light chop. Worx sponsons are awesome. I put em all the way down when I first put em on and couldn't hang on it turned so sharp. Middle setting seems great balance between tight turns but not so dangerous. Can't say enough good things about both Gary Watson from worx and Dan from dans jet power (Sydney).

FZR/S sponsons about 8 mos ago. The new 09-13
design (WR554) is quite different from their orig
09-13 FZR/S sponson (WR543) design. One
major diff is their NEW design allows you to
move the BACKING PLATE up or down on the
HULL. And you still have multiple up/down options
for the blades on the backing plate. You can see
and compare pix on the Blowsion site here.
I believe John is referring to the WORX VXR/S
sponsons (WR552), very different from both
WORX FZR/S sponson designs.
