My new RXX hood came in today

I just preassembled everything and put it on the scale. It only weighs 9.5 lbs

The top storage bucket and side trim pieces only add 2 more pounds.

If my wife leaves me alone i should have it all bolted up on the ski tonight.

Can't wait to weigh the RXP hood and trim pieces to see how much weight im saving.

Jerry Make Sure to put the harness in before you put it on the boat.
    It sucks doing it afterwards.
I was able to loosen a few of the screws and get it through but it would have been lots easier before I mounted it.

Take off the chrome pieces and drill out the rivits from the front.

Wedge a 2x4 under the hood bracket to hold it compressed some it makes it easier to put back togather.

You can get the stock hood off without messing with that bracket at all.

Mount the temp sensor before install as well. I put mine right under the gauges to get good air flow to make sure and get a true reading.

    Its installed!!!

I even came up with a crafty little place to put my boost and oil pressure gauge's.

How do you guy's like the trick location of the billet UMI gas cap?
Not to sure about it yet, but it's growing on me.
