Thumbs down So you think you can weld?

alright...im just about sick and tired of looking for a winch mount/bow rest for my dual trailer. I've got one with a bow rest that sits under the bow loop and another that has two bump stops that sit on the front bumper (a continental). needless to say the one on the bumper is totally screwing up the nose on my skis. anyone know where to get bow rests or...even better. any of you guys know how to weld want to make me one??? I'm sick of the nose of my RXP being all smashed!!

West Marine or US Boats has a ton of these in the store. I had to replace the one on my old trailer years ago because it was doing the same thing.

    Thumbs up

spike...those are close..but they're all for 3 inch wide post and mine are 2inch...it's not really a Continental trailer, but they're the only company around here that had anything so I had to use it...

I'll try to get some pictures. You guys are on the right track, but I just cant find the right size for my posts.... Lots of parts for boat trailers...but not PWC's....(at least that I can find.) I fear I've been staring so long that I'm "looking" right at the solution and can't see it.

oh well, i'll see what i can find.

EDIT: NEVERMIND....I FOUND ONE ON SPIKES LINK THANKS!!!!!!

can anyone tell how the fourth item down (#5257002) actually attaches to a 2"x2" vertical post? Just two bolts and friction mounted? Cause the ones I have now have plate and four mount holes for two u-bolts. just curious, cause I'm gonna order it and figure it out anyhow, I'm just pissed I can't figure it out from the diagrams/pictures.
