    Fastener Sizes

    OPAS Bolts: M6x1x25mm

    This would be a nice sticky. Can we compile a list of the fastener sizes throughout the skis? I'd like to place button heads on my OPAS block offs and get rid of the socket caps. Anyone know the size since it's not standard 1/4 20?

    I'll be ordering custom 7075 anodized or titanium hardware from here to increase look / decrease weight. If you replace the flywheel bolts with the 7075 or titanium you'll lose some nice rotational mass.

    Really? I ran 7075 lugs on my race car and snapped a few wheel studs but never even cracked a lug. There's always titanium

    The OPAS plates are usually about 1/4" so it depends on how much extra thread you want to have available to hold the plates on.

    This is what I did on My build a while Back. I went through the Manual and counted every Bolt and size and ordered them Here I have a breakdown That I did But I slightly Modified It. I think to get the whole ski done High grade stainless steel was 100 bucks

    Here's a Picture you should be able to count the bolts easily here and get the sizes you need just by the picture

    Yeah I won't touch the A series stainless because of the cheap crap and rust factor. I'm going titanium/anodized Al below water line and purty stainless everywhere else.

    [QUOTE=imp0ster;2081849]OPAS Bolts: M6x1x25mmdd

    Flywheel bolts sorry did not pay attention do not do a looks thing cause you can't see them. Yes our race cars with big pulleys sure. Get the arp bolts this motor is a total different game your supercharger depends on it and like Steve said pretty goes boom and ugly fast,,,

    We run belts these run gears one bolt backs out you in for trouble. Less rotating mass is good but also measurable and vulnerable and dangerous
