Newer ECU question 2010 to present

I would suspect that they are interchangable, but would like to know 100 percent. Also if you swap them do they need to be married to the gauge cluster like prevous years.

And if they do can the Can Doo do it?

Newer ECU question 2010 to present

When I changed my stock ECU out with an International RS version in 2010 it had to be married to the dash with BUDS.

They ECUS that are bosch based are hardware wise 100 % same.

But the software inside is not, but its possible to change the software inside .
IF you tell me your goal with this then i can tell you how it should be done.

I am now currently running a 2012 RXP ecu on my 2010 RXTiS without issue, although did change the model number on it to a 2010 rxtis

Did it have to be married to the gauge? As stated.

Yes. And it asked which details I wanted to keep, the cluster or the ecu

Im gonna tell you and take it at face value. I buy and sell my ski's every year or 2 and get new ones. The performance parts are always monst often put on the newer ski. But in the past I removed the ECU and put it on the new ski or sold it in the classifieds to recoop cash to buy the new one.
So I would like the same with the newer ski. I want a ECU that can be flashed and swaped to the new ski or be able to sell off and replace to stock to be able to put the flashe/upgraded ECU on the newer ski. Hope this makes sense. If YOU V-Tech had a lower second or third purchase for additional ski's/vins tunning then it would put this all at the bottom of my list. I hope most of you get this and dont bust my balls about it. I just dont keep my ski's longer than 2 years. Period.
