    Blown Oil Filter

Hello boys and girls, long time between drinks. been a big year but finally got my old pos 250 running with pistons and cam, sounds mean as only problem is its pressurising the oil filter and blowing it apart at the spot welds then fills the hull with oil, just great. I am think the pressure relief valve is stuck. it only happens when its running, if I prime the engine with out any fuel or spark it winds over fine and I can see the oil feeds on the cam shafts. soon as I run it, pop and oil every where. what do you guys think before I take it back to the shop.
