Advent CDI in XLT and W. Temp alarm????

I install a used Advent CDI in my XLT today and it sets off the temp alarm upon start up. Swapped the OE CDI back in to make sure it wasn't something else, and no alarm. I did a search and see this has been posted a couple times over the years, but I never see any fix posted. Did anyone ever figure this out.

I do have both sensors set to "off" on the switches. I have tried it with the switches in every position and still get the alarm.

Advent CDI in XLT and W. Temp alarm????

Did you reset (disconnect battery a couple of minutes) between each new switch setting?
