    (mph ) on GPS

    Hello
    what is the best way to know ski mph
    GPS gun
    or a normal GPS

    i need to know my speed in 200metars
    But the GPS getting signal not that fast I think
    what u are using guy ?

    Yea...hard to get accurate in 200 meters with GPS. There are even variances within GPS. Phones are generally not nearly as accurate as dedicated GPS with differential.

    You have to use a laser gun to get accurate speed in that short distance I think.

    i run a etrex legend its cheap handheld and gets the job done.gps devices are like automotive dynos its just a tuning tool because mph variance from gps to gps isnt uncommon.most important thing is to always use the same gps and ride in similar weather conditions.

    never tried a wrist gps but aslong as its waterproof anything will work really.alot of guys are buying handheld ones and putting them on brackets in the storage tube on the left by the gauges.there is a picture on this page same setup i have :

    but i need it to test my speed befor the drag race
    i dont need it all the time


    do i use speed gun , for that
