07 gp1300r speedo issues
was out on the weekend and found my speedo was reading roughly half of the speed I was actually doing. Had a quick look at the sensor in the rear and look visually ok. After speaking to Ziad @ xxx racing he advised me it would probably need a new speedo metre assembly. Would anyone know a good wrecker in the US that would ship one here to Australia or someone on here that is parting one of these skis out?

Try pulling the pin out and checking for hairs, seaweed, or other debris in the hole the pin sits in on the wheel. That will slow it down a good bit, or even stop it while it still looking ok. If the hole in the wheel is oblong, then the wheel needs replaced and I am sure someone on here has one because some remove then anyway.

why worried about speedo, they don't read right even new. the faster you go , the more crazy and inaccurate they are.
