BOOST NOW AT 28psi with plans to go over 30, whats the max the block can take?

I would like to know the whats the maximum boost I can run on the stock 4-tec block with blockguard installed so far we are at 28psi and want to push the motor to about 33psi with a Garrett 30-76. Any body out there running that boost level?

40 psi?????? what are you smoking meepster no way!!! even with o-ring. stock block you will blow headgasket with 30 psi in a short manner. 28 is already too much. 9000 rpm at 30 psi is close to 500 hp that stock block won't have a chance.

Want to find the weekest part of the setup, turn up the boost. Brace the cylinder walls and give it a shot!

Running that ecu will at that boost cost you a motor
    and 500cc injectors LOL....BOOM
With the correct timing IMO the head gasket and block will take 35+psi on q16/c23
You also need at least 1000cc injectors
    I am way over 500hp on a rotax 1200 4tec
also the 3076 is too small I use a 5858
o-ring head gaskets will hold 40+psi

Well if you want to increase the strength of the block, rods, pistons, sleeves, etc... basically all metal engine internals and you have the money, you can have it all cryo'ed. You have to send it out all taken apart and then they make sure it is completely free of any fluid and throw it in a cryo tank which takes it down to about -300. This then lines up all the metal molecules and shrinks all the microscopic cracks and can double the strength of the engine block and internals. Cost some money then you have to have the cylinders re machined and block re line bored but it works lol
