    Latest SJL Turbo Kit Installation

Hey guys. Just wanted to share some pics of the latest installation we are doing of our turbo kit on a 03 GTX. Most have only seen pics of our kit on RXPs. Fully integrated with next to no modification necessary. This ski will be retaining the factory exhaust with both waterboxes. We'll have a video shorty showcasing how quiet the setup is for those looking to keep the sound levels at a minimum. This ski is being setup to replace the supercharger after failure.

This kit will be available in the Greenhulk store very soon!

Are you going to run an intercooler in that ski?

This ski is being setup just as a supercharger replacement. The customer is not looking for any additional power etc, at least not at this stage. If he wants more power, then he can either buy a rear exit exhaust, Gutted waterbox, Straight Pipe rear exhaust, etc; which all are capable with our kit. It will be setup at just over factory boost pressure. Probably about 8-9psi with a CMD with Autotune for fueling control. It will be using the factory intercooler for the time being until maybe hes looking for more power. His primary concern is to not have another supercharger failure and potential engine damage. He was lucky that no severe damage occured when the clutches let go.

Then he must love his GTX. What's your kit go for and do you sell pieces independent? I can get my hands on a billet 6765 T4 from my father.

    03 GTX Factory intercooler?
    That's a 185hp supercharged non intercooled model
Of course unless you upgraded to a factory 215 or 255 intercooler

Yes we upgraded him to a factory 215 intake manifold with intercooler. He doesnt have any room for an external intercooler because hes retaining the complete factory exhaust

id be more concerned about the factory cast pistons exploding than a supercharger failure which is pretty much old news these days.
