Why do u wanna gut it. If its a stock machine you will loose performance unless your heavily modified there is no reason to gut the waterbox.

I have pro x pistons in my 97 xp which makes them aftermarket and would still never gut the waterbox cause you will lose performance. Its not like you have a fully built race motor so there is no point.

Actually unless you have some insanely big stroker motor you will loose performance Trust me been there tried that.

Ok thanks! But even if I rejet the carbs?

I have an old TDR waterbox for that thing if you really want to offend somebody with noise. It sounds like a 1980's motocross track. Like they said above though, I'm not sure it will actually improve your performance though.

Is it too loud? And how much

It is pretty loud. It's makes your ski sound like a giant, pissed off bumble bee. I have the ole Westcoast waterbox too. It is cast aluminum instead of just aluminum and the sound is in the middle somewhere. I would think more like a gutted stock waterbox and not as "tinny".

A fisherman's worst nightmare, lmao!!! The 95xp is loud enough already!! Mine is much louder than the 787 engine in the 96xp.
