    2005 Kawasaki Ultra 150 Service

    Hey guys,
my 2005 ultra 150 is at 106 hours and im going to get it serviced this week, my last ride on it ended up with us discovering a fair bit of water in the hull and then later finding out it coming from broken seals around the pump tunnel. So now i need that fixed and will be getting a jet pump rebuild aswell as a general 100 hour service. Is there anything else i should do whilst i get it serviced?

    Thanks
    Chad

Make sure all the cables are well lubed. The water leak my be coming from around the ride plate hull mounts. That's what happened to mine. A bit of sikaflex and it hasn't leaked since.

There is noting else really (other than a grease) to do. You could change the plugs, they are only about $3 each? Check the compression. It should be about 120-130 stock from memory.

    Cheers, Mal.

My water leak came from the drive shaft thru hall bearing. That seal will look good from the outside but once you take it apart you will see where it split. If the water is dripping anywhere from that or around the bolt holes yank the engine and replace. My ski almost sank because of it. Also change the fuel and oil lines

Thru hall bearing replace the whole unit. When you pull it out of the craft you will see were the rubber has split.
