exhaust filter and intercooler inspection instructions threads?

I have 40 something hours on my ultra 300 and figure its about time to clean the intercooler and ordered a new exhaust filter and gaskets. I been searching around old threads to see if anybody posted up the easiest way to do these 2 things but cant find anything. Figure I would try do it the right way and not make any extra work for myself. wasnt sure of the exhaust bolt torqe specs and should i use any loctite e.c.t. Thanks sean

    No locktite.
Remove intercooler. Flush with gasoline and rinse well with water air dry it out and reinstall pretty straight forward. If you don't know how to remove it by a shop manual. Good luck.

Yeah..Notice that the manual doesnt call for non perm. locking thread on those long M8 bolts as opposed to the M10s...more of a chance of snapping?...hmmm I put a little blue non perm. on them anyway..oops to late now..

Anyone tried the R&D plate the removes the exhaust filter? or do u think its best to leave filter in?. Rapt with my 2013 300, stock with only the R&D speed bypass and I'm seeing 72.8mph and 73.2 after a few more hours went on and its summer here in NZ.

I think the filter is very necessary. Do a search and read away...
